Picnicking after a long day of work is a common activity at the Moose Point State Park. The park is located on a scenic coastal route that offers beautiful views of the Penobscot Bay. Hiking and hunting are also common here. The park has three common hiking trails: the Big Spruce Trail, the Moose Trail and the Meadow Trail that equal about 1.2 miles when combined as a loop.
